Features
Breadth - Awareness, Prevention, Recovery and Continuation - These 4 seemingly simple words are the foundation of building a thorough and actionable Business Continuity Plan. Survivor or Statistic is a complete Business Continuity Planning solution that focuses on Awareness, Prevention, Recovery and Continuation.
Roadmap - If Framework IT were the “AAA”, this would be your “Triptik”. The Roadmap details each and every step required to build a thorough and actionable Business Continuity Plan. The Roadmap consists of 64 steps that will help keep you on track and make certain nothing is overlooked.
Team Approach – As a part of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) development, an organization will define internal “Teams” that will be responsible for creating the BCP. Teams may include: Emergency Management, Declaration, Facilities, Technology, Security and Communications. Included in Survivor or Statistic are documents you will need to define the roles and responsibilities of each team. These teams are the same teams who would implement your BCP if you experience a Business Interruption.
Plan the Plan – Survivor or Statistic includes a project plan, called Plan the Plan, that incorporates each of the 64 steps of the Roadmap. This project plan will help you build a visual timeline for completion, keep progress on track and complete the first version of your Business Continuity Plan in a timely fashion.
Sight, Site Survey – This document is a checklist that will assist you with a visual review of your facilities and/or buildings. This is a key step in preventing a Business Interruption and can become a simple and regular check-up for an organization.
Data Import – You have data regarding employees, clients and vendors in your existing systems. A Data Import Tool is available to incorporate this data into the plan which saves time.
Data Export – Upon completion of your Business Continuity Plan, you will have assembled a significant amount of information. Survivor or Statistic has data export tools and a wide range of reports that will provide easy access to this information.
Threat Matrix – Your initial Business Continuity Plan (BCP) should focus on 3 or 4 Business Interruptions and detail how you would recovery from these events. Attempting to address all potential Business Interruptions can overwhelm and thereby paralyze the development of your BCP. The Threat Matrix provides a means for identifying all potential Business Interruptions and then prioritizing those that are most likely and most damaging.
Sample Documents and Forms – Survivor or Statistic provides numerous sample documents and forms that will make building your Business Continuity Plan easier and ensure it is complete. These sample documents and forms can be modified to meet the specific needs of your organization.
Support- You will not be left on your own during the development of your Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Survivor or Statistic contains a complete User Guide and instructions throughout the software application. In addition, our certified and trained Survivor or Statistic reseller will be available to assist you through the development process.
